We designed this unique pendant to honor the 26 victims of the Sandy Hook School massacre. After wracking our brains trying to come up with a way to show our support we created this design to remember the victims and to help the families. 10% of proceeds go to the 1214 Foundation (see below). The pendant is diamond engraved with a tree with each victim's name representing a leaf on the tree. The pendant also features the name of the town and the date. The pendant is unisex and is available in nickel or gold plated for the same price of $20.00. The pendant is also available with an additional charm either a heart with a childs hand print. The charm is available for an additional $5.00. Charms and chains match the material of the pendant. : The 1214 Foundation’s charter is to raise the funds required to design, develop, and build a world-class performing arts center in Newtown, CT focused on premier children’s education in the arts. Funds will be raised through corporate donations; from collateral contributions by endowments, trusts, charities and other non-profit organizations; and through donations by private individuals and families. Ultimately, as the Newtown Performing Arts Centre reaches financial viability, the Foundation’s Board will allocate surplus funds to individuals and organizations based on needs that are consistent with the 1214 charter. Examples of such needs include scholarships for students in the performing arts, donations to organizations specializing in mental health research, support for youth-related programs in Newtown and the surrounding area, support for local and national first-responder organizations, and support for families of the Sandy Hook tragedy.
